Technology
Our production technology directly determines product quality. In this area we do not make any compromises. All Princ parket flooring is crated by a sophisticated technology directly in our production hall in Telnice nearby Brno in middle part of the Czech republic.
Gluing process
In order to stick layers together we employ the best available technology. That is based on polyurethane glue which is applied in dedicated machine using high temperature. Once the glue is between layers by immediate pressing the layers are glued together. Once the glue cools down it gets extremely hard as well as elastic enough to provide us with perfect connection. It is highly resistible to mechanical influence. The glue gets matured in a short time and it does not release any emissions or any foreign substances. This technology is absolutely safe and hygienic. Such a connection is unbreakable even if it is under direct influence of water. We are proud to say that not many other producers of layered wooden flooring have such a quality and safe connection.
Milling
During a milling process a parquet gets its final shapes. Elements for connection of particular parquets used during laying is created. Only precise shaping is fundamental and any inaccuracy would appear during laying and would influence quality of flooring. We use machines that has been designed and produced for milling of wooden parquets. Our milling line (a set of connected machines) is based on double-side shaping, which means that there are two serial machines each equipped with a set of diamond tools. This technology allow us to ensure precision hundredths of millimeters.
Surface modifications / Finishing
The character and uniqueness of the floor is given by custom modifications of surface. Some of them are manufactured using special one-purpose machines while other employs manual tools and machines. As wood lovers we also use traditional methods for hand crafting wood in order to get a unique look and patina. We do not use automated industrial methods for patina effect.
Oiling
For the final surface modification we use natural oil from Biofa Naturprodukte. Biofa, as only a few other producers, states each and every component the oil is made from. This family-run German company invites you to visit and see the production and raw material warehouse. Everybody can become convinced that oil used on our flooring is natural substance without any artificial or chemically derived elements. Our oiling line has been designed for the natural oils and ensures complete appliance and integration of oil into parquets surface.
